Franklin High's Rebels have had a bit more success getting the ball in the back of the net. Two players, Michael Brown, with 13, and Garrett Daniel, with 10, have reached double figures in scoring.

Connor Inman has six goals and John Taylor has five, while Jacob Wills has six assists and Daniel has five.

Goalies J.P. Finnegan and Jack Theriot have saved 35 of 50 shots on goal.

Among defensive backs, Chad Leake, who plays left back, had a super performance against Father Ryan. Omar Djabi, who plays center back, matched up and played very well against one of Overton's better strikers

Franklin High School's Rebels have stretched their unbeaten mark to 12 games.

Franklin, now 9-0-3, have been led in scoring by Michael Brown, with 12 goals, and Garrett Daniel, who had a hat trick in a recent 5-0 win over Pope John Paul II, with 10 goals. Daniel and Jacob Wills lead the team with five assists each.

Rounding out the scoring leaders for Franklin are Connor Inman, six goals, John Taylor, five goals, and Ben Fly, three goals.

Defense was the key Tuesday night as Franklin and Brentwood played to a scoreless tie. Kyle Boyer led the team, which played brilliantly on defense.

Franklin cranked its offense back up on Thursday with a 6-2 win over Dickson County

JP Finnegan, with 12 saves on 17 shots on goal and Jack Theriot, with 19 saves on 25 shots on goal, have been Franklin's leading goalkeepers.

Franklin is scheduled to host Father Ryan on Tuesday (4/27), when 13 seniors will be honored, and then play Overton on Friday (4/30).

Franklin's offense has been led by Michael Brown, who has nine goals. Garrett Daniel has seven goals and four assists.

Others with some big numbers are Connor Inman, with five goals, John Taylor, with four goals, and Jacob Wills with five assists.

Goalie Jack Theriot has saved 19 of 25 shots on goal and Kyle Boyer played a very solid center midfield on Thursday against Hillwood.

 Michael Brown leads Franklin in scoring, with eight goals. Garrett Daniel has slipped in six goals and Connor Inman and John Taylor have scored four each.
Jacob Wills leads the team with five assists.
In the net, Jack Theriot has saved 19 of 25 shots while J.P. Finnegan has saved five of seven shots.
Late note: Franklin defeated Ravenwood 4-2 Thursday to improve to 7-0-1. Ravenwood fell to 5-1.Taylor, Inman, Daniel and Ian Berger scored for the Rebels, who led 2-1 at halftime.

"It was one of the better high school soccer games I have ever seen," said Franklin coach Steve Parker. "These were two evenly matched teams."
